Practice Manager arrived 10 minutes late to the office for the interview then calls me back 20 minutes later. She asked 2 questions, one of them was salary. She lied saying the accounts in the office are perfect in the office and she has no worries so the salary warrants the condition of the office. When I got the position, my first month was dealing with patients coming into the office or call and yelling at me regarding their bill. The PM would ignore patients yelling at me when I was still in training and the person who had been there for 9 years would ignore the patient or pretend she knew nothing regarding the billing when she was the one who posted the claims. Training was awful!! 1 week and just the basic of scheduling patients and checking them out. The trainer told me about the other duties expected by me but never trained me on it. I learned trial by fire. I am lucky I am a self starter.
