It took about 3 weeks after I applied online to get a call for an interview. The first interview is with the general manager and maybe an assistant manager. They ask you the standard questions, why you want to work there and what makes you stand out above the rest. The main thing to remember about an interview at Chipotle is you NEED to know the facts and history about the company. This is the key to getting in. The more you know and the more you apply to the "13 characteristics" you are good to go. If you pass the first interview, the second interview will consists of meeting the crew member. The deciding factor will be if the crew likes you and thinks you will be a valuable team member.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
