I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Alameda, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I showed up to the interview expecting an older manager to interview me, but everyone was very young and full of energy. They sat me down in the restaurant and proceeded with the interview. They asked basic questions and even informed me about things I was not familiar about the company. Such that they reimburse you up to 5,000 in college tuition if you've been a team member for 1 year.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
