Using Warner questions, they ask about your childhood and try to discuss any trauma that you have experienced in your life. They then assess your emotional responses/ maturity / resilience as a result. Traumatic experiences will be asked about, discussed, quizzed, your personal relationships with your own family, why they act a certain way, why you act a certain way etc.
I did not get the job, and was sent an email by the administrator that I was unsuccessful after a very long interview about deep past trauma. There was a sense of irresponsibility in safety netting the interviewees and no follow up was had. The interviewers didn’t ask the candidates if they were ok after talking about their history. It seemed as though, yes, the children are the focus, but make sure you take responsibility for the people you’re interviewing and don’t leave them unsupported or not safety netted. You talk about children safety and but neglect adults.
