I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Westlake, TX) in Dec 2017
Interview
I submitted my application online and did a assessment test then they called me the next day to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview just asked about what I knew about the job and the company and 3 star questions and lasted 40 minutes. The following week I had an "interview day" with 10 other interviewees. We were given a 30 minute presentation and then split up into 2 groups, half of us interviewed while the other half got a tour of the building and talked to someone who was in the job role. Then after an hour we switched and got interviewed while the other half got the tour. Whole process took 2 and a half hours and I was interviewed by 2 people. Everyone else was interviewed by one person but I believe that one of the people interviewing me was practicing. Got a job offer the following day pending drug test and background check.

Standard interview make sure you show actual interest in helping people get the best for their investing goals. This means when someone calls for a simple login or password reset issue you go through their accounts and ask questions to get them to open up about what their goals are and how they’re doing and if you notice for example they are down 30% in an investment you mention this and offer added value like did you know we have these options that can help turn this around? Your goal is to show in the interview that besides the initial reason for the clients call you care to add additional value to them and they leave the call feeling like wow, it’s a good thing I called for that little issue because I ended up learning and solving a few other problems i hadn’t noticed.

First phone interview with Magly was amazing. I already knew this would be an amazing company to work for, but she made it to where I had to work here. She is so personable and sweet, it was great interviewing with her. The next interview with JD and John was also eye opening. Their personalities shined throughout our interview.
