I was sent an email to book a time in a google calendar for an interview - which I did.
I then of course, showed up a few minutes early - but no-one else showed up. I waited, I think about 15mins before logging out and emailing.
I was then told the interviewer was there half hour early and concerned that I was not there.
I rechecked the time booked and I was in at the right time.
She then resceduled me to the next day, which was her last day at the company.
That went smoother and i was told I would hear back no later than wednesday the following week.
I then heard nothing for weeks.
Eventually, 3-4 weeks later, someone emailed me to see if i was still intersted but it was a bit ambiguous if this meant I was through to the next round.
Emails back and forth eventually worked out that I could progress to second round of interviews. However, this was not without some criticism of second guessing me when i was clear with presenting my availability to make sure I made it easier to schedule.
The second interview was rescheduled due to illness of the interviewer which was no issue my side and when this interview occurred she was absolutely lovely and it was a really pleasant experience and a friendly chat.
The pay for this role being offered however, was pretty dismal and the only attractive thing about this job was that the team sounded great and it was remote.
