**Interview Process**
**HR Intro Call (30 mins)**
An introductory discussion covering my background, experience, current role, career aspirations, and expectations.
**First Technical Round**
Focused on technical and automation skills. The discussion included:
* Two coding questions
* Selenium/Playwright automation coding scenarios
* Framework design and implementation discussion
* Code review and explanation of a CI/CD-related code snippet provided by the interviewer
**Second Technical Round**
Primarily focused on my suitability for the automation team. Topics included:
* End-to-end test automation approaches
* Transition from manual to automation testing
* CI/CD integration in QA processes
* Problem-solving and debugging approach
* Handling challenging situations and conflicts
* Use of AI in testing, including productivity improvements, test case generation, automation development, and day-to-day QA activities
* Discussion on how AI can be leveraged to improve test coverage, efficiency, and overall quality processes
**Third Round (Managerial/Project Perspective)**
A 30-minute discussion where I was asked to approach scenarios from a Project Manager's perspective. The focus was on decision-making, stakeholder management, prioritization, risk assessment, and how a QA professional can contribute beyond testing responsibilities.
**Final Round**
Focused on overall fitment, communication skills, collaboration, and behavioral aspects. The discussion also covered:
* Past project experiences and key achievements
* Working style and team collaboration
* Handling challenging situations and conflicts
* Understanding and adoption of AI tools in daily work
* How AI can enhance productivity, quality, and engineering processes
* Alignment with the company's culture, expectations, and long-term goals
