Interviewed at this company in the Fall of 2021. The whole process consisted of a first round behavioral virtual interview, a ~1000 word written assignment, and a virtual interview with the CEO. Whole process took about one month start to finish. I had a really negative taste of CEPA left in my mouth from this process. From start to finish, everyone I met with seemed more interested in hiring bodies than individuals. The interviewer seemed shocked and annoyed when I asked about company culture and mentorship. I also suspect that the written assignment - on a very esoteric topic in a specific format - was assigned simply for company use and that they didn't intend to extend an offer even before assigning (I cannot prove this, however). After rapidly progressing through the two interviews and written assignment in a matter of 1.5 weeks, I was ghosted by the hiring manager for about 3 weeks. I only learned that I was not extended an offer in a cold reply to a follow-up email I sent to the hiring manager. Overall quite a negative experience. It seemed like this company did not know what it was looking for in a candidate before conducting interviews, therefore making the whole process a waste of time for genuinely interested candidates.
