I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Center Grove Community School (Greenwood, IN) in May 2012
Interview
I was asked to interview after having worked as an assistant for a year. They were still very professional in the interview, even though I had worked with the majority of the interview panel for the entire year prior. The panel was made up of the principal and other teachers from the grade I was interviewing for. Each teacher had a different area of interest they were asking questions for.

Interview
The application process starts online where I submitted my resume and cover letter. I also filled out a lengthy, generic form that asked for all of the information that was already contained in my resume. I received a phone call to set-up an interview that was attended by three people: Assistant Principal, sixth grade teacher, and an 8th grade teacher. The questions asked in the interview were the typical "how would you handle this" or "what situation from your past experience would help you with this" kind of questions. The teachers in the interview wanted to know what sort of tech skills I had in regards to computers and software. It felt like I was part of an assembly line as their next interviewee was waiting in the office as I left. I was called about a week later and was offered the job.

Question 1
All of the questions were your typical, canned inquires about how the past has helped in your jobs and how they might help with the one I was interview for.
