Went through entire interview process, salary negotiation finalized, Joining bonus finalised, Joing date finalised, documents collected — and then complete silence for weeks. Had to follow up multiple times myself. HR was unresponsive — calls not picked, emails ignored.
Finally received a response only after persistent follow ups, stating "internal hold on hiring." No proactive communication throughout the process. Candidates are left in the dark with zero updates.
Advice to Management:
If there is a hiring freeze or hold, please communicate it proactively to candidates. Collecting documents, finalizing salary, and then going silent is extremely unprofessional and impacts candidates' lives significantly.
