The interview process was not what i expected, I thought it would be an interview with one person, the one who reached out to me, but upon arrival I was interviewed first by the Team Lead’s assistant, for about 30 minutes, then she said she would call the Team Lead to ask follow up questions, I spoke to her for a bit longer than 30 minutes, the TL then gave me a tour & walked me to the director, who was the original person who contacted me. The first two ladies asked me very similar questions, with the Team Lead elaborating more on scheduling, as I applied for a per diem position. The director of the facility was incredibly nice and spoke with me for about 30 mins. He made me aware that he thought I would be a great fit and that they would be making a decision soon because they were looking to fill the position ASAP. I wasn’t even half way home when I got a phone call from HR asking me to submit references. Once I did, he contacted me hours later with a job offer. Over all it was an amazing experience to be interviewed here. I think if i had known 3 people would be interviewing me back to back ahead of time, I would have stressed myself out and done a poor job during the interview, so im glad it was a surprise. I applied on a Monday, was contacted the next morning, and I chose to be interviewed on Thursday because I couldn’t come in Wednesday, and was offered the job on Friday.
One thing I found interesting was that there was no phone screen, just an in person interview invitation...I was expecting definitely expecting Cedars Sinai to first conduct a phone interview, as I’m sure they are very selective, but I’m not complaining! I’m much better at in person interviews.
