I applied through their website after seeing the job post on Glassdoor. I had a phone screening about a week later. I was then invited for an in person interview with the Creative Director and the current Marketing Assistant. The interviews seemed to go well, although the Creative Director (Heather) seemed hard to read. After I left, I sent a follow up email to the HR assistant thanking her for setting up my interviews, she replied back with the emails of the people I interviewed with (I mentioned I didn't have them) so I could email them both a thank you for your time. No response from either of the people who interviewed me. This is Monday, and Andrea (HR, says they are trying to have a decision by Wednesday). Thursday comes and I haven't heard back, so I send Andrea an email, and she replies "can you come in tomorrow for a cultural interview?" Uh sure. So I come back now on Friday (second interview in a week) and interview with two different people than last time. When I asked both of them to describe their company culture they each said "I like to come here to get the job done." (What? Like you don't like the people, or the benefits etc..) BTW 3 of the 4 people I interviewed with had been with this company for 4, 6, and 10 years. Seemed disorganized, I never interviewed with the HR department, I have no idea what the benefits were (not mentioned at any point), and frankly I hate when you interview with people who probably have not been on an interview themselves in a long period of time. People are nervous, you should have a professional conduct interviews, not just random people. That said after my interview on Friday, I sent a follow up on Monday-- and Andrea replied on Thursday that they are going with other candidates. ? P.S I asked for 45-55k.
