In person, Two people, They said it would be 2 interviews but I didn't make it past the first. It was a small team, the interview was in person and they were friendly. Mostly behavioral questions.

Describe a challenging situation and how you overcame?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Carroll County Government (Westminster, MD)
Interview
Had to wait over half an hour past scheduled interview time. Total interview time took about 40 minutes. Five people were sitting in on interview. 24 questions (some repetitive in nature) followed by written portion where interviewee is asked to transcribe something that someone reads off a page.

If your coworker complained to you about your boss, what would you do?

Interview
There was a panel of 5 employees that conducted the interview. During the interview the group of interviewers were impersonal and unenthusiastic. There was no contact from the hiring manager and no way to follow up other than sending an email to HR, with no response. It took 3 weeks to receive a letter letting me know the position was filled. Very different than interviewing with a private company/business.

They asked questions from a script about prior experience, very half hearted and indifferent. I got the impression that they already had someone else in mind to hire, but they were forced to interview a certain number of candidates for the hiring/interviewing policy.
