I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Carmel Partners (Washington, DC) in Jan 2023
Interview
When it came to scheduling they were easy to work with and went off of my schedule and made time for me. The actual interview was easy the people there are nice and understand the position you are in.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Carmel Partners (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2023
Interview
Several interviews with various members of the team, peers, other departments, and leadership. Everyone was kind and came across as talented, smart, and passionate about what they contribute to the company. Company seems great but lacks diversity from what I saw.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Carmel Partners (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview process itself was long and drawn out to the final round, stretching approximately 6 weeks for 4 interviews (2 with the data science/research team, 1 with a VP, and 1 with HR). I was not informed that the team decided to go with another candidate despite being in the late stages. Instead, I had to email HR twice to inquire about the status of the position/process. I would have appreciated more courtesy and a reciprocated transparency given that I mentioned having multiple other interviews ongoing and the challenging nature of the job market at the time I applied.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were about tools that I used to carry out research projects and how I used them. Interviews were very driven by my enteries on my resume.
