      Instructional Designer Interview

      4 Jun 2009
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Diego, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cardinal Health (San Diego, CA) in May 2009

      Interview

Original contact made in March - no reply. Personal employee recommendation to HR and hiring manager took 6 weeks to get a response. Told interview was 3 phase process, HR by phone, hiring manager my phone, in person interview. HR side was flawless and pleasant, went directly from HR phone to in person with hiring manager in 3 days. But was told would be interviewing with Sr. Director, who position would report to and instead interview was a team interview (despite HR invitation/confirmation of 1 on 1) and surprise, week before an internal candidate was promoted to newly created manager position and candidate would now report to an unseasoned manger and not a senior director. Not good!

      Instructional Designer Interview

      8 Nov 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cardinal Health in Sept 2017

      Interview

Started the process In July 2017 and it ended in October 2017. Initially interviewed with a recruiter, then the onsite manager and a consultant, lastly two panel interviews. This was a new position for the team. The final panel interview was very suspect as it was obvious the organization was going in a different direction with regard to their training initiatives (from in person hands on training which would be the object since their customer service team is responsible for equipment and supplies, to more of an e-learning or e-training environment). As a seasoned training developer and coach, you ALWAYS start your new position with a hands on training approach, then transition to an e-learning environment.

      14 Jan 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Waukegan, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cardinal Health (Waukegan, IL) in Feb 2015

      Interview

Very thorough and straight to the point. This employer knew exactly what they needed and did not show any hidden agendas for their needs. They were very professional and courteous when it came to rescheduling interviews and making things work around both their schedule and the interviewees' schedules.
