I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CarParts.com (Torrance, CA)
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn to talk more about the role and if it would be a good fit. She was very kind and personable during the interview. She asked about my background and why I was looking to leave. She shared great info about the company, their culture, and their leadership. They ended up going with someone else who was further along in the process, but it was a good interview experience overall.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CarParts.com (Grand Prairie, TX) in Jul 2024
Interview
Seamless. Recruiter called me for a phone screen, brought me onsite to tour building, a panel interview then an offer went out and I started two weeks later. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
I applied online. I interviewed at CarParts.com (Chesapeake, VA) in Jun 2023
Interview
The process was fine, but like most companies they don’t communicate with transparency on salary so when this is discussed and they realize you are out of their “range” they stop communicating. Cant even respond as a courtesy. Didnt seem professional, glad I found out from the start. I wouldn’t want to work for that.

Question 1
Not a lot of questions asked outside of describing the position and work involved.
