The first interview with the HR associate was very positive, and I really enjoyed the conversation with the person. The second interview with the manager for the position was also very positive, we had a good chat. Third Interview - Hack session. Due to a misunderstanding on my part regarding the description of what the hack session would be, I was underprepared for the interview and was expecting a challenge to manage files, connect to APIs, or something related, instead it was a challenge to create a quick game. While it was of course something programming related, it was so far connected to the reality of the daily routine of a DevOps engineer that I had troubles, which made me unable to complete it in a timely manner, and caused me to be dropped out of the process.

1. Call with recruiter 2. Technical assignment. (Create a application (Python or Go) for Prometheus and deploy it on a kubernets cluster) 3. Technical Interview with Engineering Manager. I was declined for lacking in some technical skills, but what I found contradicting was that the Engineering Manager mentioned that Camunda looks more at personality and attitude than Technical skills, since these can be taught. Clearly this is a lie since I was denied due to my technical skills lacking, either that or my personality did not fit and they were not honest on their feedback. I would have liked a more clear answer on why I did not get the position so that I know how to improve myself, but it seems it todays world companies do not care to give proper feedback.
