      Sales Support Representative Interview

      7 Jul 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CampusPoint

      Interview

The process itself was fast — I applied and heard back the next day, and within a week, I was on a call discussing the opportunity. Unfortunately, that’s where things took a frustrating turn. I had applied for a clearly defined 6-month contract role, but during our conversation, I was unexpectedly asked if I’d be open to transitioning into a completely different role involving outbound cold calling in a year. I was honest and said that’s not the direction I’m looking to pursue. To my surprise, that answer apparently disqualified me from the very position I originally applied for — a role that had absolutely no mention of this “future expectation” in the job description. It’s disappointing. It felt disingenuous and left me questioning how transparent the hiring process really is. If the job comes with hidden strings attached, that should be communicated up front — not discovered in a bait-and-switch scenario. Both of our times were wasted!
