Interview
I applied to this job from a random LinkedIn posting. A recruiter followed up a few weeks later when I'd almost forgotten about them. I had 3 technical interviews consisting of theory questions and live coding, then an extra team fit interview by my request. Technical interviews focused on general concepts and some small programming exercises but not super algorithm/data structure focused like Leetcode. I received an offer and was able to negotiate it up a bit which was rare according to my recruiter contact.

Question 1
Describe the different types of indexes SQL Server has and their tradeoffs.
Write a SQL query to update 2 employee salaries, 1 to 10% more than they currently have and another to 20% more than they currently have. Do this in 1 SQL query
Pretty straight forward. Interview with HR, then 2 lead engineers which included a coding challenge (easy to moderate), panel style (4-6 lead/principal engineers) which included a few technical questions, then 1on1 with vp.
