I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CTI (Camarillo, CA) in May 2024
Interview
gives you a project in nasa worldwind and they tell you to build features by reading their code documentation. person doing the initial screening seems kinda disorganized and technical recruiter didn't provide any feedback. if you dont make the cut you get ghosted. they will also have engineers check your linkedin profiles.

Interview
Interviewers were extremely nice and extremely lenient on you making mistakes. They often point you in the right direction instead of marking you off.
Interview process consisted of behavioral questions (behavioral questions centered around your project and internship experiences) OOP Java questions, modifying take home coding assignment.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CTI (Camarillo, CA)
Interview
Applied online. Started off with phone screening with two engineers. Engineers were friendly but awkward. Next stage is a take-home assignment that they give you a week to complete but says that it can be completed in 4-8 hours. They encourage/want you to ask questions but are not responsive so it defeats the purpose. Final stage is a panel with several engineers. Asked technical/behavioral questions as well as questions about the take-home assignment, followed by a live coding session. Engineers were friendly once again. Phone screening and interview consisted of friendly engineers, but their lack of response detracts from the whole interview process experience. They are a fully remote company which is more surprising that they are bad at responding. HR does not respond fast as well, as it took forever for them to get back to me about setting up interviews, general questions, and more. Because of this, I would say this was a negative experience overall.
