      Risk Analyst Interview

      21 Jul 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CRISP (London, England) in Jun 2019

      Interview

Initially applied by submitting CV via email. Quick response asking to complete online test. Test comprised of categorising pieces of internet content. Then asked to complete at very short notice an analytical task to choose a threat topic for a brand emanating from social media. This took a decent amount of time to complete infact I spent all weekend completing it. Next step was to attend a face to face interview, The interview itself was fairly relaxed. Following that I was asked to complete a timed research task which was to write a report on a specific brand crisis from the past at short notice. Following that i was invited to take part in an assessment centre which comprised of some group tasks and some further interviews. Following that I was asked to provide ANONYMOUS feedback on the event which I did and the following day I was told I hadn’t been successful. I was provided feedback which stated I hadn’t stepped up to show my lead ability given I had applied for a lead position in the assessment we were split into teams of three in which one other candidate immediately wanted to lead so what was I expected to do argue with him? Surely that’s very unprofessional. On the next task I took charge of delivering the findings from the task. The next feedback was that I hadn’t mentioned something in the final assessment which i had and when questioned I was fobbed off that it must be an error!! Finally I was told something as a direct response to my Anonymous feedback! Having put a lot of effort into applying for the role naturally it is disappointing to be unsuccessful. But having completed lots of stages to be given feedback which was incorrect is deeply upsetting Having spent an entire weekend completing a assignment which it became apparent that I had been sent the wrong paperwork. This whole experience of bad communication and poor feedback as well the worrying aspect of the “anonymous” feedback it’s really left me with a negative view of the company.
