I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at COINS (Latham, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
The best interview process I've been through thus far. COINS came to my campus and presented to my HRIS MBA class at University at Albany. From this presentation we were able to decide if COINS could possibly be a good fit for us and our concentrated major. After an on-campus interview at school, only two were asked to come for an on-site Grad Interview Day. The Grad Interview Day consisted of many different aspects of the hiring process. We completed a personal, verbal and math assessment that we were scored on. We then discussed those scores with different people from the company and got feedback directly. There was a group discussion and presentation based off of readings we completed prior to the interview day. These readings were on social responsibility and social enterprises, giving me as an interviewee a direct insight to their company values. We also presented an individual presentation on an up and coming technology in the construction industry. Then there two more one on one interviews, including one with your potential manager. The day was long, we were there from 8 am to 3 pm, but we were able to meet so many people throughout the company and really get a good insight to the type of company COINS is.
