      Dispute and Credit Representative Interview

      21 Dec 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Toronto, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2021

      Interview

You go through a first interview that last 15-20 mins. If you pass that one they let you know and they schedule you with the manager and that last 45mins- 1 hours. A lot of behavioural questions. Do a lot of research on them and find scenarios in the past that had a positive outcome that fit. There’s also a role play that has nothing to do with banking. It’s to see how you handle a difficult customer.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Explain a time where you sympathized with a customer. Describe a time when you had to complete a repetitive task. How did you keep yourself motivated. What did you like and dislike about your last job? Tell me a time when a manager gave you feedback? How did you handle it?
