It was fairly lengthy because it started before the holidays which is normal around that time of year. I was in regular communication with the recruiter throughout and received more support in prepping for the interviews than I have ever received in the past which really increased my confidence going into it. There were 4 stages, screen, manager call, portfolio review, mock user interview. While I generally enjoyed the process and found it to be relatively painless, I did not find the portfolio review to be the best use of time. The interviewers felt a bit unprepared and did not contribute to the conversation as much as I would have expected. I was hoping they would dig into my work and we would have a productive discussion but I didn't feel that they were super engaged so that was a little disappointing. Despite that, I would say the experience was generally quite positive and I still very much wanted the job.
