Interview
I was asked if I could speak Chinese and given the opinion that speaking Chinese was necessary for the role. I was interviewed in Chinese and had to prepare business lingos to speak in Chinese. When I joined, I realized aside from me, nobody was even required to speak Chinese. - the interview was however pretty smooth and they don’t seem difficult to convince

Really snobbish and arrogant. Ignored my scheduling, ignored my preferences. This is not the first time being interviewed by ByteDance or TikTok. Every single time, this company has got the worst experience.
Only managed to go through Hr and hiring manager and didn’t hear back. Both interviewers are professional, however it seems like they are also unsure about the role itself. Wish they would give a response
Four stages interview. The recruiter contacted me then proceeded with a phone call interview. Then with the team lead, manager, and lastly HR manager. All of that took two weeks. Overall, the experience was good.
