There was a typical edit test followed by a phone screener and in-office interviews with a few editors from the main desk and their executive editor boss. It was fairly expected as far as journalism/reporter interviews go.

Two interviews with editorial staff, moderate difficulty. questions like what's going on in the news and what your daily routine for finding the news is. overall positive experience. Your experience may vary depending on which beat you'll be working for.
Several rounds of interviews (a phone screen and then in person conversations) plus an edit test. Very standard questions, no surprises at all. A lot of the questions repeated from manager to manager.
