I applied in-person. I interviewed at Burlington Stores (San Jose, CA)
Interview
When I got there I was told to walk around check out the store for a few minutes and they would call me back. They called me back about 5 minutes after and almost immediately I was told that they weren’t hiring and that they don’t know why the System still has the job posting up and scheduling interviews and that they would keep my application n resume on file for when they do and that I should keep looking for another job and they apologized. I don’t understand how they wouldn’t know when they have a interview? And if they did know I feel like they should had called me to let me know so I didn’t go over there for no reason. Super disappointing.
The interview was mostly a one-on-one conversation and overall it was fairly simple. As long as your personality and work style align with the culture and expectations of that specific location, you should do just fine.

Interview
Polite and understanding. Very relaxed setting yet formal. Was given the job expectations and qualifications as well as general idea of how shift is handled. I felt accepted and involved the second I walked into the interview
