I was scheduled at their corporate office which is some travel from many of their locations. But I completed a practical massage test and standard interview. It felt like a fairly standard massage interview process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Strengths/weaknesses. The normal kind of corporate type.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Burke Williams (Torrance, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
Casual and easy, they do it through a walk-through of their spa while speaking to the Lead Therapist. Strangely they didn't have me do a Massage during the interview, though that may have been due to the fact that they have too many male therapists, and are seeking female therapists now.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Burke Williams in Apr 2018
Interview
I met the recruiter at my massage school and had been interested in applying. Went to a job fair at the spa and when the massage manager was free, she introduced herself and took me to her office for the interview. She took about 30min to get to know me and for me to ask questions. There were a couple people waiting for interviews, so the manager scheduled me for a practical the next day.
Practical was 25min which I appreciated. She gave me some feedback, then introduced me to their general manager. He was direct but kind, and offered me a job.
