They were friendly. Questions were thorough and challenging. They inspired me to see where I needed to elevate my game. Why is Glass Door making me give a minimum of 30 words for this?

Application
I interviewed at Burke Williams (Woodland Hills, CA)
Interview
My phone interview with Burke Williams was initially sent to spam. I returned the call right away but was only able to leave a voicemail. They followed up the next day and mentioned this is a common issue with their phone system.
Unfortunately, the in-person interview was a disappointing experience. During the practical portion, soap was placed alongside the lotions in a dimly lit room, which caused confusion—I used soap instead of lotion for the first few minutes. While this may have been intentional as part of the evaluation, it felt unclear and ultimately unfair.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Burke Williams (Pasadena, CA) in May 2024
Interview
There is an initial interview with standard questions about you as an employee and your credentials. After the initial process there is a practical interview where you perform massage. They may have you do both parts the same day but they may also ask for you to come back again, which was my experience.

What drove you to pursue massage therapy as a career?
