A person in charge of hiring emailed me to ask for a Zoom interview. The interview was arranged, but he didn’t send the scheduling confirmation email (with the link to the Zoom and the meeting ID) beforehand, so we had to arrange it again. I thought it is odd that he only sends the scheduling confirmation email only about 10 minutes before the actual time for the call.
Anyways, the interview went fairly well, and I was asked to do a test to make design/layout for two web pages and 3 banners. I spent quite a lot of time doing my best to complete the task. After submitting my work to him, 2 days later I received an email saying that he can’t find the email that I submitted with my work. I had to send it to him again, and I was concerned if they would be able to review my work with the full information.
I didn’t hear from him for 1 week, so I emailed him to kindly ask what the timeline for the decision is and if there is any update regarding my job application and work that I did for them. 3 days later, he emailed me that I was not selected for the position. Very detached and slow in communication. Totally not a good experience.
