I applied online. I interviewed at Brilliant Earth in Apr 2017
Interview
I received a total of 4 interviews for this position, two were over the phone and the other two via webinar. HR asked basic behavioral and personality questions. As I progressed they asked more job specific questions, incorporating VLOOKUP and Pivot Table skill test as well as business cases mixed with mental math problems.
Overall I had a positive experience. It's clearly visible that everyone loves their job there and are passionate about the mission. HR responded in a timely manner throughout the application process. I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Beth and Jeff who are both very sharp individuals. They are not afraid to dig deeper into questions and truly understand your prior experience/skills.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you streamlined a workflow or process using an ERP system?
Not shown off in the interview. When I asked the reason why, they said like “Thank you for letting me know” like it was my fault ?!?!?!?!?! Later said to me the role had been filled.

Interview
I received an email requesting a phone interview about 3 weeks after applying. They scheduled it for 2 days from the time I replied. They asked why I was looking for a job, what I had accomplished to increase customer satisfaction other than the things on my resume and other similar standard questions. They asked 2 mental math questions and asked me not to use a calculator (but can use pen and paper). These were simple questions but make sure you are prepared mentally for this. I panicked here and made a silly mistake. They replied via email 2 business days later that they did not think I was right for the position. I can't blame them haha. Up next would have been a video interview.

What kind of office environment do you work best in.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brilliant Earth (Denver, CO) in Jul 2018
Interview
I had a phone screen with who I assumed with a Recruiter but actually ended up being someone in the group who I would have worked with if hired. He asked some of the weird sales questions that other people have mentioned on here... which I may have gotten incorrect because I was caught off guard and felt pressured to answer quickly. I feel like there were a few "weed out" questions that had nothing to do with my experience and skills as a Business Analyst - namely, multiplication on how many rings in a tray and what is 10.5% sales tax on a purchase. The interview otherwise went fine and I was still interested in the position despite the odd questions. I did not move forward in the interview process.
