I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Brilliant (CA) in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview process started with a standard onboarding call with HR followed by a lengthy assignment that took about 3 hours. Within an hour of completing the assignment I heard from HR that she would like me to meet with a member of Client Services. This is where things took a turn. The next person I spoke to in client services arrived 5 minutes late to the interview, didn’t apologize or acknowledge it, clearly had not familiarized herself with my criteria and was highly distracted looking out the window where there was someone picking or dropping off children in her driveway. It felt highly unprofessional and like I was not given the time of day. I left the call with a bad feeling, received a rejection email the following day at 5pm on a Friday, asked for feedback or insight as to why I wasn’t a good fit and 3 weeks later have not heard anything.

Interview
Very long process with too many steps for a simple sales job. It involved an online application, 3 virtual interviews, a timed project that included creating a presentation of branded products and then presenting the project to someone.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They gave me a hypothetical client and asked what branded products I would try and sell to them in a sales pitch.
The interview process was unnecessarily lengthy. You must submit a written document answering questions, then record a video of yourself, then do a video interview with someone in HR, then complete a 3-hr timed assignment, then complete two additional live video interviews. It was a very involved interview process for a sales job of taking and completing orders of branded promotional products.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about how you would deal with certain client situations and asked you to put together presentations of products you would pitch to sell to clients.
