I have to say I felt my time was not valued after 6 week interview process. The interview process consisted of two phone interviews and one in person interview. The first interview with a recruiter went well and I offered a second phone interview with the hiring manager a week and a half later. After 10 days of preparation, that phone interview lasted about 10 minutes and I was asked one or two questions. I was asked to come in for a third in-person interview which the hiring manager rescheduled so I had to play phone tag with a unresponsive secretary for a couple days to finally pick a date and I also had to remind the secretary to send me an email confirmation. A date that was 2 weeks after the second phone interview. After preparing for about a month, I finally met up in person for what was supposed to be an hour and a half long interview I ended up only job shadowing for 20 minutes and I had a 10 minute interview where I was asked a mere two questions. At the end of the interview I was told there would be a decision in a couple days. There was no communication for about 10 days. After 6 weeks of waiting from my initial interview I was told by the recruiter that they had decided to go with a different candidate. The recruiter had already known this outcome for about a week and neglected to tell me. Not mad I didn't get the offer. I just feel that my time and effort was not valued.
