I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Mar 2019
Interview
I got to know the professor through on campus interaction and when there was an opening he referred me after getting to know my skills. After getting referred I met with the professor a handful of times to understand his goals and research and after being screened on those things I was offered the position.
