The interview process involved the initial contact followed by a video call with the HR person. It seemed to go very well and I thought the next step was meeting other people at the company. I felt pretty good about it. I did follow up and was told I would need to complete a test. I was assured the test wouldn't take long, but it ended up being very involved. That's great, but I spent two hours on it. In the end I gave up because I felt the length of the test was unreasonable and I was doing what amounted to free work in exchange for nothing. I did receive a follow up email letting me know that they had a number of qualified candidates and decided to go with someone else. At least they didn't leave me hanging. However, I don't think I'd ever agree to another "test" with a prospective employer.
