Interview
Resume and samples first to a recruiter, then, to each of two Partners. Interview was friendly and informal. Employment was on a temporary basis, so worked for the organization for 6 months before a concrete offer was extended, negotiations ensued and offer was accepted. The person I was hired to replace was still kept on, though was not informed that he was to be let go. This created unnecessary tension for both parties.

The interview was a chat. There were no obvious challenge questions. Perhaps the most difficult question was when I could be done serving my freelance client.
