Interview
Process was quite standard with a telephone interview and a technical task to complete. then invited to an open day, which was rather strange.
It lasted the best part of a whole working day with several more coding exercises and interviews as well as a tour of the office. Met with director and development team. Felt that on the tour that people did not seem happy and the IT function was just put in a spare space in the office.
Then told that would receive a decision on a Monday, but for whatever reasons they kept on pushing that back by almost nearly two weeks. This seemed very strange and showed that they do not value people and their time.
Luckily offered another role so was able to withdraw application as this raised serious concerns in how they treat people. The impression from the day and people was that developers at the very least are seen as disposable assets and there would be very little chance to learn or progress within the company.
