The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Brainbase
Interview
A 4-stage interview process - Took about 2 weeks to complete. First stage: HR Screening Second Stage: Hiring Manager Interview Third Stage: Panel Interview Fourth Stage: Exec Interview The whole process was smooth.
Rather than being screened by HR, I was screened by my soon to be manager, which was a nice surprise. A few days later, he followed up and I began interviewing with different product leaders within the company, including a co-founder and a product consultant. After several zoom meetings with product, I was introduced to several key members of the product engineering and product design teams.

Question 1
Can you walk us through your product development process with a real world example?
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Brainbase in Jan 2021
Interview
A headhunter reached out. Light and informal interviews. They made an offer. Typically, they include stock options but did not do so for this role. Managed to negotiate for options (which other recruits were receiving left and right) which went reasonably well. Suddenly, after I had handed in my notice at my previous employer, they took back the job offer with no explanation. This was purely based on asking additional questions about the employment contract (the recruiter confirmed they had finalized all evaluation at that point). The communication was polite and constructive throughout the process. But suddenly because of asking additional information about some of the points in the contract in a good-natured way, they pulled out in a way which left me without my previous or new position. I urge you to be very very careful and make sure you are not let down in a similar manner.
