The phone interview seemed pretty normal. Standard behavioral based questions were asked. Seemed kind of promising.
The in person interview was a joke. The hiring manager was not prepared and didn’t ask any questions pertaining to the job. I left with the strangest feeling that this was a waste of time.
I received a response two months later they chose another candidate.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Boyer Trucks (Minneapolis, MN) in May 2021
Interview

I applied online. I interviewed at Boyer Trucks (Lauderdale, MN) in Mar 2021
Interview
Initial phone screen with internal HR recruiter. Then a timed personality and skills assessment which takes about 60-75 minutes to complete. Form there, I had a phone meeting with company CFO. Met with local team (GM, Office Manager) and the Controller and Assistant Controller from the other office. The office has a "masks required" sign on the door, but only a couple of employees were actually wearing them, so I'm not sure why that was the case, but it's a red flag if staff isn't following the rules posted on the door entering the building. The body language of one of the interviewers was very negative as well, so between those two events, it didn't leave me with a good impression of the organization. Within a week, I got a notice they were moving forward with other candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pretty standard questions, other than the personality and skill tests. The skills test didn't seem relevant for the position I applied for, and seemed more so for service techicans.
