I applied on LinkedIn and fairly quickly received an invite to set up a phone interview. From the start of the call the interviewer seemed uninterested in me and trying to convince me this wasn't the position for me. I don't know if it was a tactic, but it was very off-putting.
First of all, the position seems more sales enablement/sales management focused than what was described in the job listing. She explained this and then kept asking if I was sure this was something I'd want to do. I said I wasn't against it and wanted to learn more but we kind of went in circles on what it was they were wanting exactly. She sounded frustrated with the current sales team's tactics and wants someone to get them in line.
This position is in Austin and I asked about their HQ in NYC, which she said is going to be moving to Austin. It sounds like the company is a bit in flux. At the end of the call she bragged about how many more super-qualified interviews she had that week but she'd try to get back to me within a week (still haven't heard back weeks later) and then she wished me luck on finding a job. It was the weirdest interview I ever had and I told myself, if by some miracle they did ask for a second interview, I'd decline.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BountyJobs (New York, NY)
Interview
First there would be a phone screen with your potential manager. Then if you pass you would move on to on site interview with Management, some of your potential peers/coworkers, interview with CEO depending on level of position.

Question 1
Lots of your standard interview questions. If you have experience in this industry/space dropping some key words helps. Otherwise they're really looking for culture fit.
