I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bottom Line (CT)
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter—she found me, not vice versa—and went in for an interview a couple of days later. I met with three people (which I was not told ahead of time—no prep at all from the recruiter) and was there for several hours. No one smiled or asked me anything about myself or my qualifications. I got the feeling they were mining me for information on how to improve their processes. The icing on the cake was that they gave me an edit test, which was odious to put it mildly, was not in line with the seniority of the job, and was also going to be followed by a timed test. This is not the SAT. I didn't do the test and withdrew from consideration.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bottom Line (CT) (Stamford, CT) in Jan 2010
Interview
You meet several members of the team over several interviews. I applied several times over the years before I got an interview. They gave a gift bag on the day of the interview. They made the process fun. It's mostly a great place to work.
