Really disappointing treatment of candidates who dedicate time to prepare presentations and then take half a day off work to attend in person interviews. The interview process was as follows: First stage: virtual interview with the COO. She was really personable and a pleasure to speak with. I could certainly envisage myself working for her at that time. Second stage: in person presentation and interview with COO, Head of Marketing and then meeting other team members who were in the office. On the Tuesday I was told they would send me a case study and eventually they sent it on Friday afternoon (with no advanced warning that I should expect to spend my weekend on it as I was scheduled to meet them on Monday morning). I sadly missed an important family event to spend my weekend on the presentation. I took half a day off work on the Monday to meet interview them. When I met them they were wonderful. However, a week after I heard nothing back, even though the COO was previously very responsive. So I sent an email saying it was great to meet them but no response. 2 weeks later I assumed I hadn't got the job so emailed saying I'd really appreciate any feedback they had. No response again. They say they value character over credentials but its hard to believe that they're so busy to not have 60 seconds to send an email that merely says "sorry we found a more suitable candidate". Its such a simple action, but which speaks volumes in terms of giving candidates respect and value. Based on this experience I would never want to work with Bondaval in any capacity.
