I had no connections there and was offered and interview with HR from submitting my resume online. I had the interview with HR which was fairly generic and seemed like they were going of scripted questions and checking off the boxes. I then spoke to the hiring manager, but didn't seem to get the impression that they thought I was a good fit because my background was a little different than what they were used to.

Question 1
How I would translate my experiences to work for this job.
Took 4 months, multiple rounds of phone/virtual/in person interviews with many different levels of employees. Exact next steps were never clear. Overall, very nice people and communicative HR department despite lack of transparency.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Boehringer Ingelheim (Ridgefield, CT)
Interview
Recruiter, then hiring manager, panels, Director and Executive Director. Thoughtful questions, quite long. Some interviewers need practice. Overall, just an experience that could remove some layers and unnecessary people from the process.

Quick initial process with recruiter, didnt qualify for next round of interviews but the recruiter provided valuable feedback as to why i was not selected for the next round of interviews.
