Interview process was:
1. Interview with content team
2. Interview with comms lead
3. Interview with HR
Of these, the first two were fine - very informative and friendly - but the third was a cliched box ticking exercise ("describe yourself in three words, etc."). A total waste of my time.
But that wasn't the main issue. The big problem was that it took almost three months to be told my application had not been successful, and that despite me emailing the HR team several times.
I was fortunate that I had already decided I would not be interested in the role prior to the third interview (it involved a major relocation that in the end wasn't practical) but to be ghosted by HR would be very stressful to other candidates. Especially frustrating as BI had before this come across as a great employer.
My tip: drop the corny HR interview, focus on authentic engagement and communicate better post interview. BI, you are better than this.
