Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Blue Yonder (Warsaw, Masovia) in Sept 2024
Interview
At first everything was clear and had its momentum. Soon after application I got a screen call from hr. About 20 minutes basic talk. We ended the conversation with positive impressions on both sides. After a week there was a call with two team members. One manager and one senior specialist. About 1 our quite tough conversation but everything held in a friendly atmosphere.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How would you build a prediction model for coffee consumption? Describe each step.
There was a time consuming take home test. And I was told that there would be a technical round with no indication of what this interview would entail. The whole process was very awkward and the interviewer was aggressive and insensitive. She didn't give any room for questions from my end. The interviewer went on pushing me to speak German when this was not a requirement for the job and despite the fact that I had clearly mentioned both in my CV and during the interview that my level is a beginner am not business ready. Questioning was also completely obtuse and didn't at all deal with my solution to the homework task and the interviewer went on badgering me about some other forecasting method which was not even appropriate for this task. Even though I did answer all their questions, it was just weird and the questions asked were not well articulated. All in all, even though I had good referrals from other employees at BY, this particular interviewer was a very difficult person.

Question 1
Why do you want to work here? Why didn't you use time-series for regression here?
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Blue Yonder (New York, NY)
Interview
I directly got a coding test to solve a prediction problem. After submitting the coding test within 3 days, I had to wait for a month to get the decision and scheduling next technical interview call. The interview went well and got positive response from one of interviewer that I was recommended for next final interview with company Senior official.
Again it took almost a month for HR to get back for the final call. The final call also went well and I was hoping I would be offered.
Finally after two weeks I get a mail saying I'm not selected at this point.
Major issues here are the interview process which is very long and tiring and timely unresponsiveness from the HR.
Secondly they don't provide what's the exact reason for rejection (though in my case I had received positive feedback on technical interview).
All in all, after waiting for almost 2 months, I was not offered the role neither got any feedback to improve upon.
