There was a 30 minute phone interview, which was pretty low-key, and a two hour in person interview. You get to shadow in different departments and meet a lot of people. There are assessments you’ll need to do as well.

Interview
This may have changes since I was hired but when it comes to the Design Department the interviewer was conducted by the Design Manager. Depending on experience, especially Electrical Experience a series of questions regarding NEC Code and other Basic/Intermediate/Advanced questions were asked. All questions pertain to the actual experience which provides the Manager sufficient information on whether the potential candidate would be able to learn and ease into the Designer Role.
