      Accepted offer

      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Bloomreach in Oct 2025

      Interview

The interview process seemed to be long at the first glance, but it was quite fast at the end. The communication was clear, respectful and efficient. It was really enjoyable interview experience and I am grateful for it.

      Software Engineer Interview

      9 Feb 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Brno
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bloomreach (Brno)

      Interview

The interview process was well structured and organized. I had an initial HR screening call, a technical interview with the hiring manager, deeper technical round focused on problem-solving with the whole team and technical lead, and a final culture/fit conversation with a business partner. Due to the Christmas break the whole process took almost two months, but communication between rounds was clear and I always knew what to expect next.

      Question 1

I had to prepare technical design of defined software application.

      Software Engineer Interview

      20 Oct 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bratislava
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomreach (Bratislava) in Sept 2025

      Interview

The interviews were structured, technical, and fair. I received very positive feedback from the interviewers themselves. However, once visa topics came up, the process changed. I was told the company only hires through its “passport talent” route and that they were “not used to” standard employee contracts. When I proposed a simple French contract, it was refused. I was then advised to pursue a Czech Blue Card, and later told the process would take too long, so they wouldn’t move forward. When I asked if I could follow up if I found a faster option, I was told it might help future candidates but not my own case. It became clear the decision wasn’t about logistics or skills — it was about nationality.
