5 stages: Assessment -> Video Interview (5questions)-> HR Interview (1hr) -> Biz Interview (1hr) -> Final Biz Interview (1hr)
Assessment: No time limit. Solve all the “identify patterns” questions.
Video Interview: quite sufficient time for prep and ans. Important to read up about the role, the company, and prepare to answer your motivation to apply and some situation based question (e.g. one challenging time). For mandarin speaker- required to answer “an asset class you are interested and why” in mandarin.
HR interview: video interview on steroids. HR Manager will dive deep into your real understanding about the company, program, product. Will also ask questions like “how can Bloomberg capture a larger pie” and etc. do not smoke. If u dk just say u don’t.
Biz Interview 1: similar to HR interview but more program focused. Two interviewers, playing good and bad cop so don’t feel demoralized. Will also ask about broader topics like market trends and what is the one that will impact you or impact Bloomberg’s client. Will also make u do roleplay. (Roleplay: Give u 3 situations that happened all at once and ask you to rank your prioritization and explain why)
Final interview: similar to Biz interview 1 in terms of format but questions can be a lil tougher.
