      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Blockchain (London, England) in Feb 2026

      Interview

This was the first of three interviews and was a general meet-and-greet screening. It was fully online via a video call and lasted about 20 minutes. We discussed my background, education, motivation for software engineering, personal projects, and right-to-work/visa status. The tone was conversational and focused on fit rather than technical questions.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Q: Can you talk about your education history Q: Why did you pick software engineering? What excites you the most about it? What keeps you going? Q: Do you have any personal projects? Why did you do them? Q: What is your visa status?

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Blockchain

      Interview

The interview process was pretty straight forward, there were 3 rounds an HR interview to check I was aligned with the role description and if my background fits the role, then a technical interview where the questions were directly related to the position and a last interview with a manager which was a mix between fit and technical questions. Overall the process was respectful and straightforward.

What project are you most proud of? Plus, some technical questions related to the project I described.

      Software Engineer(Internship) Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England

      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Blockchain (London, England) in Apr 2019

      Interview

I applied around January for a summer internship. Around the end of March, I received an invitation to do a small project for them as part of the interview process. Most companies make you go over a test, but this one wanted a project that took around 6-7 hours. After that I got invited to do 3 interviews with different people in the company and then they told me that I would get a response by Monday, the following week. These interviews were supposed to be the last. They ghosted me for 6 weeks. Didn't answer to my emails nor my calls and after that, they sent me another email saying that I had to do another interview with the VP of engineering. The following Monday, I received a response, saying I didn't get the job, because my project wasn't good enough, even though they moved forward with the interviews because of that project. I got extremely unprofessional treatment and to be honest, I don't think I would have accepted an offer, even if they had offered me one. Save yourself some time and don't apply at all!
