I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bitpanda
Interview
Four steps stretched throughout four -five weeks time:
1) an intro call with HR
2) a meeting with a Hiring Manager
3) an asignment to complete at home
4) a call with the HM's leader
I'd recommend wapping steps 3 and 4 or expanding the 2nd step into a panel style session. After spedning a
substantial amont of time on completing the assignment and moving on to meetng the Hiring Manager's leader I didn't feel that I would either be a good cultural fit, or that the time spent on this process was a good investement on my end.
I personally got a "tech-bros"sort of vibe from the last conversation with BP.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Walk me through your career.
Describe your management style.
What would your previous manager say about you?
What are your strengths/weaknesses?
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the hiring process. I will make sure to share it directly with the TA partner for this role as we are always striving to optimize hiring processes across the business with candidate experience. We always strive to give our applicants the opportunity to look “inside”, to get to know their team members, and to get a feeling of our culture and how we work. That works on both sides and if you felt that it was not the right match for you. That's ok too.
Wishing you all the best in your future,
Bitpanda Talent Acquisition Team.

Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bitpanda (Vienna) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview with the recruiter was super easy. I was given a short introduction to the company and shared my work experience as well. HR seemed very positive, said my profile is a great fit for this position, and it is a definitely ''yes'' from the recruiter's side. More than a week later I get a typical ''We have decided not to progress your application any further'' without any explanation or feedback whatsoever. Things like that really make you question the hiring process at the company.
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Usually, after the first call with the recruiter, our team shares your profile with the hiring managers. I assume in this case a reason for rejection was that there were stronger candidates in the process. I am sad to hear about your negative experience, if you want you can reach out to me to discuss more specific details.
Wishing you all the best in your future,
Marko - Bitpanda TA Team
